Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.
The word itself relates to the layer of skin into which the solution is injected - the 'mesoderm', or middle layer of skin.

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical treatment
With mesotherapy for hair loss, these tiny injections are given in the scalp.
Given the fact that these micro-injections are superficial – administered only into the skin – mesotherapy is a non-sur
gical treatment that can be easily carried out in a clinic, with the client able to immediately return to their daily activities.
Mesotherapy treatment has now been used for decades to successfully restore volume to thinning hair and to promote significant hair regrowth for both women and men who have experi
enced the beginnings of balding.
The technology
The technology at the root of the treatment is based on the understanding that most hair loss problems are a result of lack of proper nutrients, reduced blood circulation to the scalp, and hormone imbalances around the hair follicle.
For hair restoration treatments, the Mesotherapy solution injected into the scalp contains a special combination of specific chemicals, minerals, amino acids, vitamins, nucleic acids and co-enzymes.
The treatment restores metabolic balance at a gradual pace, which enables the steady growth of new, healthy hair strands.
Throughout Europe, South America, the United States of America and Asia, Mesotherapy has been successfully used to treat a variety of hair loss conditions and today it is known to be practiced by approximately 40,000 physicians worldwide.
When administered professionally the treatment is very safe and essentially painless, with no local anesthesia or dressing to the skin required.

The Chemical and Mechanical Action of Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy uses a dual-action process, which employs both chemical stimulation and mechanical stimulation to the affected area ( We use micro-injections utilizing syringe with tiny 31G needle and derma-pen).
Mechanical Action:
The needle used to administer the solution creates micro perforations in the affected tissue, which induces a healing process, stimulate hair growth in the scalp in which collagen and elastin are produced. These substances are two building blocks within the tissue, vital for the formation of healthy skin and hair.
Chemical Action:
The active ingredients administered via microinjection stimulate the appropriate response in the mesoderm, according to the condition being treated. The quality of the product is of the utmost importance. In our clinic we use the best hair treatment solutions available: PLURYAL Mesoline Hair from MD Skin Solutions (Luxenburg) and HAIRZON from Dermica Laboratories (Switzerland).

The Mesotherapy Treatment Protocol

A session takes between 10 and 30 minutes
The treatment procedure for hair loss can vary from patient to patient, however a session usually takes between approximately 10 and 30 minutes, depending upon the size.

Minimum of 10 sessions
Generally, a minimum of 10 sessions is required in order to create the conditions in the scalp required to stimulate hair growth, beginning with an intensive course of treatments every 2 weeks for the first 2-3 months, after which it is possible to then decrease the frequency of treatments to once every 3 months or less.

How Quickly Do Patients Experience Results?
Some people can experience positive results within the first few weeks of treatment, however it can vary depending upon the severity of the hair loss and how the individual responds to the treatment.
Patients should expect to expect to see significant results within the first 2-3 months of treatment, but the full effect of the treatment may take up to 6 months.
Effectiveness of Mesotherapy for Hair Restoration
Mesotherapy has been shown to be just as effective and sometimes more effective than oral tablets for hair restoration and rejuvenation.
Orally administered treatments must first pass through the gastrointestinal tract and be metabolized by the liver before they are released into the bloodstream.
This digestive process significantly reduces the amount of medication that reaches the affected area.
In contrast, Mesotherapy is able to deliver a much smaller dose of treatment direct to the affected area; in the case of hair loss, the hair follicle; where it is directly required and can be immediately assimilated.
Mesotherapy has been shown in a clinical trial to be more effective than topical application of Minoxidil for successful hair restoration treatment in females suffering from hair loss.
Mesotherapy can eliminate the need for hair transplants, however as with any treatment, it is important that in order to maintain the best results in an on going way, that the patient also does their best to support the healing process by eliminating toxins from their diet and lifestyle and following an appropriate exercise program that supports their optimum health.
